Demo mode: explore the example plans

Demo mode lets you explore fully worked example plans without touching your own. It's handy when you want to see how a feature looks with real numbers, or sanity-check your situation against a sample household - and you can switch back to your own plan at any time.

Turning it on or off

Open the user menu in the top-right corner and flip the Demo mode switch. Turn it on to load the example plans; turn it off to return to your own plan exactly as you left it. Switch back and forth as often as you like.

If you have an account. Demo mode is also what you see whenever you're signed out of an account. Your real plans are stored safely in the cloud and reappear the moment you sign back in - signing out doesn't leave an editable copy of your plan on the device.

What you get in demo mode

Six example households - a near-retirement couple, a single pre-retiree, an early-retirement (FIRE) saver, a lean-FIRE case that retires abroad and later returns, a late starter, and a single person carrying high debt. Use the plan switcher in the top bar to move between them, then open any page (Dashboard, Cash Flow, Taxes, the What-If Explorer, and so on) to see the example fully populated.

Your data is safe. The examples are read-only, so explore them freely - nothing you do in demo mode changes, overwrites, or deletes your own plans. When you switch demo mode off, your plan is exactly as you left it.
