Most retirement planning tools store your financial plan on their servers and require an account. Retirement Figures lets you choose where your plan lives.
Use it with no account. By default, every plan you create is stored locally in your own web browser - not on our servers, not in the cloud. We never receive a copy, and we literally cannot see your plan data.
Or create an account to sync. If you'd rather use Retirement Figures on more than one device, you can create an optional account (with an email address or a sign-in such as Google). Your plans are then stored on our servers so they sync across your devices. Using the planner without an account always remains an option.
Encrypt your cloud plans (optional). If you use an account, you can turn on end-to-end encryption so your plans are encrypted in your browser with a passphrase only you know - so not even we can read them.
Plus works either way. Plus unlocks with a simple license key and does not require an account. Checkout is handled by our payment processor (Stripe), which collects your email address for the receipt and to send or recover your license key.
No identifying information. Beyond an email address (if you create an account or buy Plus), we never ask for your name, address, phone number, date of birth, Social Security number, or any other personally identifying information.
No financial account access. Retirement Figures has no connection to your bank, brokerage, or any other financial institution. There are no account numbers, no credentials, and no data feeds. Every number in your plan is something you typed in yourself.
No upsells, no referrals. We will never use your data to recommend financial advisors, insurance products, investment services, or any other third-party offerings. Retirement Figures is a planning tool, not a lead generation platform.
If you use no account, your plans live only on your device, so clearing your browser data or switching to a new device or browser will lose them. Be sure to export a backup now and then and keep the file somewhere safe - or create an account to keep your plans synced. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
